February is CTE Month! We'll be highlighting the value of Career and Technical Education classes throughout the rest of the month!

Last week, NorthStar traveled to Hartley Nature Center in Duluth! Hartley Nature Center is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to environmental education for all ages. There NorthStar students learned about specialized owl adaptations, and they even dissected owl pellets! Later in the day, they learned about winter survival by building shelters and fires. Here are few images from the field study!
