Sharing broadcasting information about this morning's Sectional Semi-Final game featuring our NSS baseball team. The 1st round starts at 10:00 AM with NSS taking on Washburn. If the NSS boys win, they will play again at 4:00 PM. Sporting Events for the Week of June 9th.
On June 10th, NSS Baseball will play Washburn in Athens at 10:00 AM for the Sectional Semi-Finals. The winner of that game will play the winner of the Edgar / Rib Lake game at 4:00 PM that same day and location.

Athletic Events Update: The NSS softball sectional championship game vs. Thorp will be tonight, June 5th in Thorp at 5:00 PM.
Also, the NSS baseball regional championship game vs. Prentice will be tonight, June 5th in Solon Springs at 5:00 PM.
A reminder that the WIAA requires schools to charge admission for all regional and sectional competition games.
The NSS Tracksters are still headed to UW-La Crosse on Friday and Saturday for state.

Athletic Events Update: The NSS softball game semi-final sectional game will be tonight, June 4th in Mellen at 5:00 PM. If the team wins, they will play Thursday, June 5th in Thorp at 5:00 PM.
Also, due to all the games that were rescheduled due to weather, the NSS baseball game that was originally going to take place today, June 4th has been moved to Thursday, June 5th at Solon Springs. They will be playing the winner of the Bruce vs. Prentice game. This will be the regional finals competition.

Athletic Event Update. Due to the heavy rain in Mellen, the NSS softball semi-final sectional tonight will be postponed. The game is rescheduled to tomorrow, June 4th, in Mellen at 5:00 PM.
Mr. Turinske’s classes have been doing the Turinske Tournament of Champions the last week and a half of the school year. The tournament is an Olympic style tournament where students compete in different stem based competitions and get points based on how they place. They built catapults, 2-liter bottle rockets, boats, cars, and parachutes. The winner of each class won a medal built by the Northwood shop!

A reminder that starting Monday, June 2nd, the District Office will be moving to their summer hours of operation. The office will be open from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday. With the remodel construction underway and the summer cleaning underway, it is suggested that people should call ahead of time to ensure that someone is available to help with any needs. There may be some unexpected days when the office may be closed. The Tiny Seeds Learning Center will be open for their normal hours 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

On the last day of school, Northwood will be having several groups of students arriving by fire truck. Minong, Wascott and Gordon Fire Departments are all participating. Some student's parents won this treat at Septemberfest and some won this at Family and Community Night. So, no need for alarm if you see those trucks at Northwood on Friday morning!
Tomorrow is the last day of school at Northwood School District. Also, a reminder to parents that students are being released early at 1:15 PM. Contact the District Office with any questions.
