Northwood School is at the mid-year point and grades will be available soon. Kindergarten - 5th grade students will each be bringing home their report cards on Wednesday, Jan. 21st. 6th - 12th grade students and parents can access final grades via Infinite Campus on Wednesday, Jan. 21st. MS & HS families needing printed copies of report cards can request those with the District Office.

This week NorthStar students participated in the Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Speaking Contest! Beginning in November, students selected and researched conservation topics, wrote speeches, and delivered them in the classroom. Twelve of our 5th-8th graders were eligible to compete at the county level in two divisions. First place winners from each division are advancing to the area competition next week to determine who moves on to state!

Just a reminder that there will not be school for students tomorrow, January 16th, due to a professional development day. The Tiny Seeds Learning Center is open for their regular hours, however.

Today some of our middle school Northwood and NorthStar students and teachers are attending the "Empower" Leadership Event sponsored by the Green Bay Packers.
Part of their time today will be spent in breakout sessions. The topics for those sessions are: Rhymes with Reason – Language of Leadership, Care Kit Packing with Packers Alumni Nick Barnett and Frank Zombo and Pulaski Hope Squad, and Character Playbook – When it Matters Most.

Northwood School and Mrs. Turinske invite everyone to a piano recital on Wednesday January 21st at 5:30 PM in the Richards Auditorium. Refreshments will follow the program.
