Yesterday Aimee Kringle visited the Northwood Band and gave lessons to all the flute players and conducted a rehearsal for both the MS and HS bands. Mrs. Kringle has over 24 years of experience teaching both MS and HS bands between Shell Lake and Rice Lake and currently teaches classes at UW Stout along with running her own music studio, Noteworthy Music Studio, out of Rice Lake. Northwood is so thankful for her guidance and expertise as they prepare for our upcoming concerts next week. Thank you, Mrs. Kringle!!!

Athletic Update - The varsity girls basketball game scheduled for Tuesday, December 2nd at Mellen has a change of start time. The game is now starting at 6:00 PM.

Winter Break begins Wednesday, December 24th at Northwood School. The district office will be closed during break, but administration will be checking voicemail and email messages throughout that time. Please see the graphic with dates and times that the Tiny Seeds Learning Center will be open.

Shout out to the Northwood Middle School students! They all passed their core classes for 1st quarter and are going to be celebrating with some fun events at school on Friday, November 21st, including nachos!

Way to go, Evergreens! $1,217.47 was raised during this year's Penny Wars at Northwood School! The winning classes were 5th grade, NorthStar & 12th grade. Congratulations!

All proceeds are being given to our local food shelves. The whole school did an amazing job! Stand Tall Like Evergreens!

The holiday season is fast approaching and the music department wants you to mark your calendars for their upcoming program and concert.

Winter and weather changes are soon upon us. One way to be notified of athletic changes is to use the "Notify Me" feature on our athletic calendar. Follow the steps in the graphic to help you know of cancellations and rescheduled events for sports of your choice.

Thursday, November 20th is the LAST DAY for the 2025 Penny Wars! That means EVERYTHING COUNTS DAY will happen. This is where all donations are positive for the classes totals.

The Honor Society wants to thank all those who have donated this year! The proceeds will be given to the local food shelves this year.

Notice of School Board Vacancy and Upcoming Election

This Friday the Northwood students and staff are asked to have a little fun with a border battle day due to the upcoming matchup of the Packers and Vikings. People are encouraged to wear something representing their favorite team on Friday, November 21st.

Northwood's Penny Wars 2025 are in their final days. However, tomorrow is Twisted Tuesday! This means that pennies are negative and silver and green money is positive. It is a great way to help a class take the lead! The last day for donating is Thursday, November 20th. All donations made to the Penny Wars are going to our local food shelves.
