A special thank you to the Minong Fire Department for helping with the our Northwood softball field maintenance this afternoon prior to the sectional semi-final game that happened this evening. The
MFD brought their water truck so Mr. Bub could water the infield to get ready.

On the last day of school, Northwood will be having several groups of students arriving by fire truck. Minong, Wascott and Gordon Fire Departments are all participating. So, no need for alarm if you see those trucks at Northwood on Wednesday morning!

Starting Monday, June 8th, the District Office will be moving to their summer hours of operation. The district office will be open from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Tuesday through Thursday. There will be three full weeks of closure for the district office. Those will be July 6th-10th, July 20th-24th and August 3rd-7th.
The Tiny Seeds Learning Center will be open for their regular hours 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Tiny Seeds will be closed on July 3rd for the Independence Day holiday, however.

The game will be played on the Northwood field and the cost of admission is $7.00 (no passes accepted). The event will also be live streamed on YouTube. This week at Northwood we are celebrating our last days of the school year, but we also wanted to take a moment and acknowledge a few staff members who have already or are retiring after this school year. Thank you Laura Braasch for her 25 1/2 years of service at Northwood, Chris Holland for her 4 1/2 years of service to Northwood, and Suzanne Patterson for her 4 years of service to Northwood (coming out of retirement from another district and re-retiring). Rick Moravec and Jimmy Smith are also part of this retiree crew. We truly appreciate all they have done for students throughout their careers in education!
