Mark your calendars for Northwood's Pinecone Preschool Round-Up & Registration on Friday, April 24, 2026. Our Pinecone Preschool is a free full-day program that runs from Monday through Thursday. Students also receive free breakfast, lunch and transportation. The child needs to be 3 years old by September 1, 2026 to be eligible. To schedule your appointment, contact the District Office at (715) 466-2297.

Northwood School is pleased to announce the 3rd quarter honor roll students. The B Honor Roll is for students that earned a 3.0-3.5 GPA. The A Honor Roll is for students that earned above a 3.5 GPA.

Athletic Events Update for April 7th: Tonight’s softball and baseball home games against Drummond have been postponed. The rescheduled dates are TBD.

Practices will still take place, however. HS softball practice will be at Solon Springs and HS baseball practice will be at Northwood.

The 2026 Spring Bake Sale at last week's Family & Community Night had a good turnout. The FACS cooking classes made breads and desserts for attendees to purchase.

The Tiny Seeds children enjoyed an egg hunt last week.

Weekly Northwood School & Sporting Events for April 6th - April 11th. (**Menu subject to change.)

NorthStar went to the Palace Theater in Spooner to see the new Mario movie as a reward for their 3rd quarter reading goal! Each quarter, NorthStar students are required to read at least three books at their individual levels and complete a series of assignments for each book. Big thanks to Palace Theater for creating an excellent experience for us! We are so grateful to have this in our local community!

Consistent, on-time attendance is an important factor in academic success. Middle school and high school students were rewarded this week if they had ZERO tardies during Quarter 3!

- 24 middle schoolers earned donuts during their Weekly Spark meeting hosted by Mr. Turinske and Mr. Bub.
- 10 high school students earned a drink of their choice from Boondocks Coffee & Cafe (two students are not pictured) for being on time to all their classes.

A reminder that Easter Break is April 3rd & 6th. The Tiny Seeds Learning Center is closed on April 3rd, but will be open on April 6th for families who signed up.

Some of our talented Northwood art students recreated logos from businesses that are participating in the Career, College and Community Expo tonight. This is happening during our annual Family & Community Night going on from 4:00 - 7:30 PM. This event is open to the public!

At Northwood's Family & Community night this Wednesday, April 1st, discover local opportunities for employment, education, and services! High school students have the opportunity to win door prizes through engaging with various community partners. The event runs from 4:00 - 7:30 PM in the Northwood Gymnasium. This event is open to the public, as well.
