With school being cancelled for today, Tuesday's Hat Day recipient will be switched to be Mrs. Kasinskas' family and the school will do another Hat Day in January for the Comforts Food Pantry of Minong.
All classes and school activities are canceled for tomorrow, Friday, December 16th. This has been quite an impactful winter storm. We have numerous families and staff snowed in and others still without power. There are also unexpected operational issues at school as a result of the storm that need to be addressed.

The Student Council has put together some fun and festive dress up days for the last few days before break! We look forward to seeing everyone spreading the holiday cheer leading up to Christmas Break!

REVISED: The Boys & Girls high school basketball games scheduled against Frederic on 12/13/22 have been postponed. Practiced for MS Boys Basketball, HS Girls and Boys have also been cancelled.

The Basketball Doubleheader scheduled for tonight in Drummond has been rescheduled. The boys will now face Drummond on January 5th, and the girls will play at Drummond on January 12th.

Pinecone Gingerbread House Event -
Our Pinecones had a blast decorating gingerbread houses this past week. The event received many donations from families to secure supplies to make the gingerbread houses. Many families were also able to attend and join in on the fun. What a sweet start to the Christmas season!

Just a reminder about our annual Holiday Bazaar at Northwood. The students in grades PK-5th get a chance to buy gifts for their family members and will bring the wrapped gifts home right before Christmas Break. The Northwood Student Council is sponsoring the bazaar this year. They are looking for donations of men's gifts and tape for wrapping presents. If you are willing and able, please bring donations to the School Office by Friday, December 16th.
