Does your child need bussing for the 25-26 school year? If so, please contact the District Office by July 31st to make sure your child is on the list.

Here are some pictures and a video of the Remodeling Project at Northwood School District as of July 23rd. The video shows the progress of the Evergreen Entrance and Office area. The east entrance parking area has been expanded. A special thanks to our volunteer laborers Mike Hopkins and Terry Lucia for their help! The student service center is coming along well. The football player & parent 2025 orientation meeting will be held at the Northwood School Auditorium on Tuesday, July 22 at 6:00 PM. The coaches will be answering questions for the upcoming 2025 season. If this meeting causes a scheduling conflict for your family, please let the coaching staff know as soon as possible.

A reminder that the high school yearbooks are ready for pick-up. To get purchased yearbooks, stop by the office Mondays - Thursdays from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Due to the construction project, it is recommended to call prior to pick-up to ensure someone is able to help you. Just a couple reminders. One is of the summer hours for the District Office. The office is open Mondays - Thursdays from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, but it is recommended to call prior to stopping in. With the construction project, there may be unexpected closures. The other is that the Tiny Seeds Learning Center will be closed Friday, July 4th. They will return to normal hours the following week.

Madison Rutzen, who will be a senior this fall at Northwood, will be traveling to Europe with the Wisconsin Ambassadors of Music. See the graphic explaining her exciting trip in the week ahead. All of us in the Northwood community wish Madison safe travels and hope that she makes lifelong memories on this incredible experience.

Sharing broadcasting information about this morning's Sectional Semi-Final game featuring our NSS baseball team. The 1st round starts at 10:00 AM with NSS taking on Washburn. Sporting Events for the Week of June 9th. On June 10th, NSS Baseball will play Washburn in Athens at 10:00 AM for the Sectional Semi-Finals. The winner of that game will play the winner of the Edgar / Rib Lake game at 4:00 PM that same day and location. Best of luck to the NSS Baseball Team!

Athletic Events Update: The NSS softball sectional championship game vs. Thorp will be tonight, June 5th in Thorp at 5:00 PM. Also, the NSS baseball regional championship game vs. Prentice will be tonight, June 5th in Solon Springs at 5:00 PM. A reminder that the WIAA requires schools to charge admission for all regional and sectional competition games. The NSS Tracksters are still headed to UW-La Crosse on Friday and Saturday for state. Best of luck to all NSS athletes!
