We are wishing all of our Northwood families a happy, healthy & safe time during the upcoming Thanksgiving Break. Just some reminders. There is no school from Nov. 20th - 24th. The Tiny Seeds Learning Center will be open Nov. 20th - 22nd. And the School Office be closed; however, there will be staff present working on a variety of projects. Enjoy your break!

The final day for Northwood's Penny Wars is a day where Everything Counts and it counts as positive. The three winners will be announced at the end of the school day on Thursday. Thanks for all of the people who donated. The students always enjoy this competition and the families who receive the presents are very grateful.

To celebrate the last day before Thanksgiving Break, Northwood will have a Blaze Orange & Camo Day Friday, November 17th.

Thursday, November 16th is the last day for Penny Wars. To add to the donation for Minong's Operation Rudolph, Northwood will be hosting a Hats for Helping Day. Any student or staff who brings in $1.00, can wear a hat (which is against our dress code) or fun headband for the day. Those wanting to participate can come to the library in the morning with their donation to get a sticker from the Honor Society members.

A fun day for Northwood's annual Penny Wars is Twisted Tuesday. Pennies are negative for this one day and silver and green are positive. It's a great way to battle all of the sabotaging. Again, all proceeds go to Operation Rudolph of Minong, which provide presents for families in need in our area.

Northwood's annual Penny Wars are well underway. All proceeds go to Operation Rudolph of Minong, which provide presents for families in need in our area. Monday, November 13th is World Kindness Day. In honor of that, all pennies brought in for the penny wars will be matched by Mrs. Birdsill.

Just a reminder, Northwood's middle and high school students will have an opportunity to attend a "Do it for Daniel" presentation on Monday, November 13th. "Do It For Daniel" is a documentary of 19-year old athlete, Daniel Olson’s, struggle with depression and mental illness. It has a message of hope, coupled with Suicide & Mental Health Awareness, education, and athletic scholarships. We understand that this could be a sensitive topic for some students or families. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Audorff or Mrs. Kildow at the school via phone at 715-466-2297.

Mark your calendars to save the dates for these great upcoming holiday events at Northwood School.
