This week at Northwood we have been celebrating and thanking our staff in many ways. But we also wanted to take a moment and acknowledge a few staff members who are retiring after this school year. Thank you Mr. Brian Olson for his 35 years of service at Northwood, Mr. Terry Shold for his 32 years of service to Northwood, and Mrs. Valeri Scheps for her 9 years of service to Northwood. We truly appreciate all they have done for students throughout their careers in education!

Student enrollment for next year in the NorthStar Community Charter program is currently underway. Primary enrollment is due by May 30th. If there are any open slots after that, secondary enrollment will begin and closes July 31st. The maximum number of students is 30. If numbers go over 30, then the students in the secondary enrollment would be placed in a lottery to see who can join. NorthStar Community Charter staff and students invite everyone to their next coffee connections on Friday, May 10th. The event is from 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM in their classrooms. It is a great way to see what those students have been up to and see their presentations. Again, this is open to all.
