The 2019-2020 school year is just around the corner. Back to School Packets will be sent out this week. Please take time to read and complete all the important documents and return them to the school office. You can now view the Back to School Letter on the school website under "news".
Reminder - Class schedules should be visible to all HS students. Mrs. Kildow will have office hours this week Monday, August 5th: 10am-3pm and Tuesday, August 6th: 11:30am-3pm for HS students that have questions regarding their class schedule. Thank you.

A huge thank you to the roughly 15 volunteers that showed up last night to help with the continued construction of the new concession stand. The steel roof is now installed and thanks to the support of all those helping with this project, it is looking great!
Note: School Office Closing
Summer cleaning is in full swing and the custodial staff is working hard to make our school shine. We appreciate all their hard work in this heat. The school office will be closed for cleaning July 22-26.
The Northwood School District is looking for a Middle School Volleyball Coach to begin this upcoming season. If you interested, please contact the district office.

The football field is looking good after the reshaping work that was completed earlier this summer. Let's hope it will be ready for a game this upcoming season.
The new concession stand project is underway. This will be a great new addition to our already wonderful athletic fields.
The gym floors have been sanded and refinished. They look super! Here's a picture of the main gym. Wow! We plan to re-open the gyms on July 8th.

Mrs. Birdsill is encouraging all Northwood students to work their brains this summer by reading. Our brains are one of the most important muscles we have and they need to stay in shape so we can start off the upcoming school year right. Most public libraries, including the Minong Public Library, have reading programs to help motivate children to read. Check out your local public library for more information.
There are a limited number of Elementary / Middle School / NorthStar Charter yearbooks available for purchase. They are $12.00 and can be pick-up in the office. High School yearbooks can also still be ordered in the office. They are $35.00 and will arrive mid-August.
