This is the Northwood School LMC homepage! The LMC is the "heart" of the school.

The library media center is where school communities thrive. Our library provides FREE access to books, computers, online resources, audio books, CDs, DVDs, and more. Our library also has many different types of MakerSpace supplies available for students and staff to use. Two times a school year, the library also brings in Scholastic Book Fairs to help put books into the hands and homes of our students.

My name is Mrs. Birdsill and I am the Media Specialist here at Northwood. I am from a small town in Minnesota and obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University - Moorhead. After a few years of teaching, I obtained my Masters of Education in Informational Media and Technology at the College of St. Scholastica - Duluth.  I have been a Media Specialist for nearly two decades and have seen some great changes in what is available for students, teachers, and schools.  In 2012, I crossed the border and began my teaching career in Wisconsin.
