Starting Monday, November 12th, the Northwood Student Council and National Honor Society will be hosting a Penny War. A penny war is where pennies (copper coins) count positively to a class's / group's tally and silver coins or green bills count negatively towards the tally. So if a group has 25 pennies and then someone puts in a quarter, their tally would be zero. There will be three winners of free time with devices to be won. One for K-5, one in the middle school and Charter, and one with 9th-12th grade. All funds will go towards the Operation Rudolph charity, which collects gifts for local families undergoing hardships during the holiday season.
